Noticeboard

COVID PASS MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS - there are only very limited medical reasons why a patient cannot have the covid vaccination and only these patients will be eligible for a medical exemption pass.  You MUST contact 119 to ask for an application form.  If you are eligible, the 119 service will send you a form. For more information - please go to https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-medical-exemptions-proving-you-are-unable-to-get-vaccinated

ONLINE APPOINTMENTS

Please note we have temporarily suspended our access to online booking appointments, this is so our staff can triage calls and arrange telephone consultations for those who need it most and to not put others at risk

Please be aware certain medications for minor health conditions such as hayfever, insect bites, sunburn and head lice will no longer be available on prescription. To find out more, visit www.nhs.uk/otcmedicines.

Home Visits

Doctor's bagWhilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:00am on 01204 462930. Only Urgent problems telephoned in after 10:00 will be seen on the same day.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
